FAQs

Who Can Apply?

The award is open to all advertising, marketing, digital, PR, and creative agencies based in Europe.

  • Your agency must be headquartered in the UK or Europe
  • There are no restrictions based on agency size or specialisation

Who Is Not Eligible?

Unfortunately, freelancers and self-employed individuals are not eligible to submit work.

What Are the Costs for Winners?

Should your project or agency be selected as a winner of the British Agency Award you will be required to pay £495 + VAT (Award Acceptance Fee) for each category you are selected as a winner, up to the total you selected with your entry submission.

We allow multiple entries, and you can indicate the number of awards per entry you would like to be considered for.

Participation in many or even all categories is no guarantee of winning and our jury will review entries unbiased.

Why is there an entry fee for the British Agency Awards?

The £49 + VAT submission and admin fee helps cover the core costs of running the awards, including managing entries, coordinating judges, and supporting participants.

This low entry fee also helps ensure that only genuine submissions are received, maintaining the integrity and quality of the awards.

In return, entrants benefit from a fair and thorough judging process, with dedicated UK-based customer support available throughout.

Is there anything to pay if I don’t win?

No, there are no additional costs if your entry doesn’t win.

The only required payment is the £49 + VAT submission fee, which covers the administration and review of your entry. There are no hidden fees or further obligations beyond that.

What Do Winners Receive?

Award-winning agencies receive:

  • One prestigious trophy

How many awards and categories can I apply for?

There’s no official limit to how many awards or categories you can enter.

You’re welcome to submit the same project across multiple relevant categories or enter different projects in different categories.

Submitting to more categories increases your chances of winning and showcasing the full range of your agency’s talent.

However, please note that entering multiple categories does not guarantee a win—each submission is judged on its individual merit.

Why is the Trophy in the UK different to Germany?

The trophy for the British Agency Awards differs from the one used for the German Agency Award (Deutscher Agenturpreis) for several important reasons:

  1. Different Supplier:
The British Agency Award trophy is produced by a different supplier based in the UK. This ensures faster production and delivery for UK-based winners.
  2. Visual Differentiation:
We intentionally designed a distinct trophy for the British Agency Awards to clearly differentiate it from our sister award in Germany. This helps visually distinguish winners of each respective award at a glance.
  3. Encouraging Cross-Border Participation:
By offering unique trophies for each award, we support and encourage agencies from across Europe to take part in both the British and German Agency Awards. Each win comes with its own exclusive recognition and design.

This approach ensures that each award retains its own identity while celebrating creative excellence across borders.
